Auto-Reverse Journals adds a Reversing Date to general journal lines. Post the journal once and Business Central posts the line and its exact mirror on the reversing date, through standard journal posting in one transaction. Reverse and Correct on G/L registers reverses an entry and copies it to a journal so you can fix and repost it.

What it does
- Reversing Date column
- Set the reversal date on each general journal line.
- Default per batch
- A reversing date formula per journal batch, for example the first day of the next month.
- Exact mirror lines
- Same accounts, balancing account, currency, exchange rate and dimensions, with the opposite amount.
- Standard checks apply
- Allowed posting dates, document balance and number series are checked; the posting preview shows both dates.
- Reverse and Correct
- Reverses a G/L register and copies the reversed entries into a journal batch for correction.
- Reversal log
- Every reversal is logged with documents, dates, amounts and user.
