Focused apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

56 apps, each being built to fix one gap that comes up on implementation after implementation: short-closing orders, approvals, stock availability, handheld warehouse scanning, batch posting, period locks, configure-to-order. None of them replaces Business Central's standard posting routines.

Short Ship and Receive

Lines close.

Ship 7 of 10 and the line closes at 7. The remaining 3 isn't left as a backorder, and the original quantity is logged.

Short close entry · Closed · 3 not backordered · original qty 10 kept on the posted line

Ordered 10, shipped 7. When the shipment posts, the line closes at 7, the remaining 3 is not left as a backorder, and the change is logged.

Approval Matrix

Approvals route.

A purchase order finds its approvers from your matrix, and a corrected date doesn't send it back to the start.

Writes standard approval entries, so Requests to Approve and the mobile app keep working.

Inventory Availability

Stock adds up.

See the week stock runs short, which orders ship now and what the next receipt covers, in figures that match Business Central.

Standard first

How we build

Quiet software for the busiest pages in Business Central.

Built by an implementer

InXtend is led by a Business Central solution architect who has worked on more than 50 implementations. Each app closes a gap he kept closing by hand on implementation projects.

Standard first

Our apps extend Business Central through its published events and interfaces. They don't replace standard posting routines, which helps your partner's other extensions and Microsoft's updates keep working.

Your business records stay in your tenant

The apps run inside your Business Central environment. What leaves it is limited to a license check, technical telemetry that doesn't carry your business records, and anything you send us for support. Our security page lists it all.

Ready for the next release

We plan to test every app against Microsoft's preview of each major Business Central release before that release reaches customers, so the April and October updates aren't a surprise.
