Orders shipped in Business Central before the last line was picked?
InXtend Warehouse Mobile shows which shipments are fully picked, checks the staging bin with one scan and posts the shipment from the handheld.
The screens are illustrations of an app in development.
What standard Business Central does
Standard Business Central posts the warehouse shipment, or the sales order shipment at basic locations, from the page in the office.
Where it stops
The person posting is rarely the one standing at the shipping bin, so a missing line is found by the customer.
What Warehouse Mobile is being built to add
Warehouse Mobile is being built to post the shipment where the cartons are, after the bin scan confirms the lines.
Ship what was picked. Nothing more.
| Step | On screen | Caption |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Shipments ready | Picked shipments show their status, so half-picked orders stay put. |
| 2 | Scan the staging bin | The shipping bin confirms every picked line is there. |
| 3 | Count the cartons | Cartons and weight go on the shipment for the packing slip. |
| 4 | Post the shipment | The warehouse shipment posts the sales order shipment once. |
Shipped from the floor, posted in Business Central.
