InXtend Warehouse Mobile · Transfer · Essentials
Transfers in Business Central that ship from one site and vanish before the other?
InXtend Warehouse Mobile scans a transfer out at the shipping location and in at the receiving location, each through that location's own setup.
The screens are illustrations of an app in development.
What standard Business Central does
Standard Business Central posts transfer shipments and receipts, keeps stock in transit between them, and in version 29 adds direct transfer posting from warehouse-enabled locations.
Where it stops
Both ends are usually posted from a desk after the truck has left or arrived.
What Warehouse Mobile is being built to add
Warehouse Mobile is being built to post each end at the dock, with lots and serials scanned.
Ship the transfer. Receive it at the other end.
| Step | On screen | Caption |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Transfers to ship and receive | Outbound and inbound transfers for the location. |
| 2 | Scan what leaves | Items and lots are scanned against the transfer lines. |
| 3 | Post the transfer shipment | The stock moves to in-transit, posted once. |
| 4 | Receive at the other end | At ORL the same app receives it, with ORL's simpler setup. |
Two locations, two setups, one app.
