InXtend Deferral After Posting for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Spread revenue or expense that was posted without a deferral template, from the G/L entry.

Business Central lets you choose deferrals only before posting. Deferral After Posting adds Defer Entry to General Ledger Entries: choose a template and start date, preview the schedule and post. The app creates a balanced journal with the entry's dimensions, and the standard deferral engine releases the amount on every schedule date.

What it does

Defer Entry action
Start directly from General Ledger Entries.
Schedule preview
See the standard deferral calculation before anything is posted.
Post or review
Post immediately, or leave the lines in a journal batch.
Dimensions carried
The original entry's dimensions go to every posting.
Built-in guards
Balance sheet entries, deferral postings, reversed and already deferred entries are refused.
Re-Deferral Entries log
Template, start date, documents, status and user, plus a Re-deferred column.
