InXtend Disassembly Wizard for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Take an assembled or kitted item apart and put its components back in stock, with cost and tracking.

Business Central assembles items but has no way to take them apart. Disassembly Wizard walks through it: choose the item, quantity and lot or serial, start from the assembly BOM or the posted assembly order, set a yield per component, and post. The parent's cost is spread over the components and every disassembly is kept with its item ledger entries.

What it does

Guided steps
Item, quantity, location, bin and the parent's lot or serial, from the item card, item list or a posted assembly order.
Component list
Start from the current assembly BOM or the posted assembly order's actual lines, and edit it before posting.
Yield and scrap
A yield percentage per component and a scrap reason code.
Cost carried over
The parent leaves at its unit cost and the components receive that cost by BOM cost weight.
Tracking and history
Lots, serials and expiration dates on components, and a Disassembly Entries history linked to the item ledger.
