Planning Run Guard

One item with bad setup can stop a whole planning worksheet calculation, and an overnight run then delivers nothing. Planning Run Guard calculates the plan item by item, or in small chunks, from the job queue. An error is logged with the item and message, the run continues, and the planner gets the list of errors by e-mail in the morning.

What it does

Guarded calculation

Runs Calculate Plan per item or chunk of items, so one failure doesn't stop the run.

Run log

Each run with the items planned, the items that failed, the error text and the duration.

Your limits

Worksheet template and batch, date formula, item filters, chunk size and a stop-after-N-errors setting.

Morning e-mail

The error list sent to the planners after the run, and a Schedule action that creates the job queue entry.
